What’s in it:

Arnica helps with emotions that get locked in the body after accidents or violent experiences. Arnica is often chosen for puzzling issues that don’t seem to respond to other approaches, especially when emotional stress underlies physical symptoms. It is supportive for use immediately after accidents to release shock held in the musculature, or later to ease long-held trauma, whether emotional or physical.

Star of Bethlehem is the classic crisis essence. It offers reassurance in the wake of shocking events and helps soften the “shut down” response that often follows. It encourages clarity and inner strength in moving forward after overwhelming circumstances.
 
Fireweed is about springing up from the ashes with new passion and purpose after devastation. As the first plant to regrow after fires, it symbolizes resilience and is often used for burnout. Fireweed encourages clearing out old habits and armoring that no longer serve, helping to rekindle one’s sense of purpose.
 
Comfrey helps ease the effects of old wounds that may have caused a “shut down” response in the mind or body. Supportive to the nervous system, it encourages beneficial shifts in memory, dreams, and spiritual awareness, fostering gentle renewal.  
 
Echinacea supports the transition from an old, traumatized self-image to a more integrated sense of wholeness. It maintains a sense of protection while you’re in a vulnerable state, but also nudges you toward deeper presence. Childhood traumas can fracture identity, and Echinacea is used to help release old personas and reconnect with true self.
 
Moonbeam Coreopsis is a companion for recuperation—whether emotional, physical, mental, or spiritual. It facilitates heart rebuilding and depth of process that goes beyond the obvious.     I bought Aftershock Essence as I had been going through a period of considerable stress eg leaving an abusive marriage followed by the process of divorce. Like all Freedom Flower Essences it has been excellent in initiating the healing process and has helped me to feel grounded again and to look forward to the next phase of my life.
